Hello. I am Rogel, the owner of Rogel Adventures. I have been a fisherman for over 29 years and have worked in the tourism industry for over 9 years. 3 years ago, I took the initiative to start my own tour company in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, and have grown into a great company catering to locals and visitors.

It would be hard to imagine two more fun and fish filled days on the water than the ones Captain Rogel and his first mate Burger gave us. They're friendly, entertaining, first-rate teachers and experienced professionals who know the water and put us at ease immediately. On day one the 4 of us boated more snappers and mackerel than we could count, which Burger turned into a delicious beach BBQ lunch, and the captain gave me and my son a flyfishing lesson for the hundreds of bonefish cruising the flats just off the beach. We ended the afternoon taking our time at a great snorkeling site.

First trip with Rogel was flyfishing for bonefish. I'm an intermediate flyfisher, friend beginner. This was a physical and mental challenge for us Colorado girls not used to distance casting /ocean. He was an excellent teacher and extremely patient and supportive. He worked hard to give us chances and some hard fought success. 🙂

Second trip with Rogel. We reef fished one day and spear fished on the second trip. We caught over 30 snapper on a half day trip. Rogels knowledge and experience separates him from other charter Captains we used in the past. He did a great job teaching my two boys how to spear fish and each of them we able to get fish. His first mate Burger (nickname) was very entertaining and made sure we comfortable on the boat. Anyone that books with them will not be disappointed.

We went out with Capt. Sanchez, myself and my two boys ages 11 and 9. We had a great day of fishing, we caught plenty of fish on are trip. The boys and myself had a great time. What like about Capt Sanchez was he worked so well with the boys making them set the hook and making the cast. I have been on other fishing trips with the boys and the Capt does all the work they cast and set the hook and all you do is real in the fish. I would high recommend Capt Sanchez

My wife and I had a great experience with Captain Rogel today July 30th, 2024. We recommend booking with him next time you’re around San Pedro, Belize. He was quick to confirm trip, showed up on time at resort dock, had a clean organized boat, explained where the safety gear was located, etc. We are new to fishing and he showed us how to use proper technique. He brought all the gear and bait we would need. He also brought water, soda and beer for us. We booked a half day reef fishing trip. We hit about 5-6 spots. If the fish weren’t biting, we moved on. Overall, we caught a mix of yellow snapper, red snapper and mutton. At the end, we came back to the resort and cut the fish up into cookable fillets so the hotel could make us dinner. It was a fun trip and we learned a lot.

Captain Rogel and First Mate Burger made the trip great. Put us on lots of fish, both varieties of snappers and Spanish Mackerel. They made the trip very entertaining and took care of us well. I can highly recommend them!

Incredible experience! Highly recommend. Rogel and Anthony were an absolute delight. We wanted a unique experience and they absolutely made it happen! Lunch was delicious! We had a blast learning to clean conch, peel coconuts, and just hang out with the sea life. Able to keep a lfew for a light dinner and kids keep want more! Thank you, Captain Tarzan and Burger!
